GNM(General Nursing Midwifery)

GNM referred as General Nursing and Midwifery it deals with the education of nurses in general health care, nursing, and midwifery.

GNM or General Nursing Midwifery is a Three and a half-year diploma course in the field of Nursing. Students who wish to pursue GNM diploma can proceed after passing their class 12 exam with Science stream. The Three year and half-year course includes six-months of mandatory internship. GNM diploma course is one of the sort out course which can be considered as a stepping stone towards making a career in the Nursing field. Graduates of GNM diploma can start their career by working with government and private hospitals and clinics.

those complete their GNM Degree can work as a Community Health Worker, Home Nurse, Health Visitor, Basic Health Worker & Rural Health Worker. You can also work at education Institutions, nursing tutor, ICU nurse & Infection control nurse.GNM graduates can work as a Staff Nurse, Home Nurse, Health Visitor & Community Health Worker.
